Today, we take a moment to step away from the daily hustle and bustle of fitting shoes and serving our amazing customers to celebrate someone very special — Richard Price, the heart and soul behind Alamo Shoes. Happy Birthday, Richard!

As the proud son of Alamo Shoes' founder, Richard has continued his family's tradition with passion, dedication, and a genuine love for the community. What started as a small neighborhood shoe store in Chicago has grown into a local landmark, thanks in large part to his leadership and commitment to keeping the family legacy alive.

For decades, Richard has welcomed generations of families through our doors, always with a smile and a deep knowledge of what makes a good shoe great. Whether it’s helping a child get their first pair of school shoes or finding the perfect fit for someone with unique foot needs, Richard has always led by example — showing that customer care is more than just service, it’s personal.
